The Mint Collective

November 18, 2021

As I’ve been working on a few products for release, I’ve been wanting to immerse myself with other collectors. There was a card show in Las Vegas in October but I was unable to make it because of prior commitments. It sounds like this show will be happening on the regular about every 6 months so I’ll be looking forward to that.

While I was listening to some podcasts while working today, one of the shows mentioned something about The Mint Collective being in Vegas. I jumped on my phone and looked up quickly what this was all about.

The Mint Collective looks like it is going to be a great event. Lots of great sponsors. Cards and memorabilia for sale. A great venue. But what caught my eye was the speakers sharing their knowledge and experience with attendees and the sessions that will be taking place.

This is exactly what I’ve been wanting!

I do have to admit though that I gasped when I saw the price of admission to attend these sessions. It seems comparative to similar events in tech that I’ve attended but my employer has always footed the bill for me. I’m not making money (yet) with this venture so it will be difficult for me to be able to attend.

Unless somebody wants to sponsor me to go in their stead. I’m not counting on that though.

At the very least I will probably be attending the card and memorabilia show. In any case, I’m excited there will be a great event so close to where I live.
